Reply chain
Twitter / X reply chain generator.
Build an original post with up to six replies, stacked as one X-style conversation, then export the whole thread as a single PNG. It never fetches real replies or publishes anything.
One image, 2 posts. Fictional demo — use mockups responsibly and don’t present them as real conversations.
Make a conversation in three steps
- Edit the original post, including its author, text, date, images and engagement.
- Add replies and open each one to customize it. Use Up and Down to reorder replies, or Delete and Undo to adjust the conversation.
- Choose Light, Dark or Dim, then export the whole conversation as one PNG. Share opens your device’s share menu when supported, with a download fallback.
How the layouts differ
The original uses an expanded post layout with a full timestamp and views. Replies use compact timestamps and detail-view icons. Images stay in your browser, and refreshing the page clears your edits. Use images you have permission to use, and label fictional conversations when you share them.
What you can edit in each post
The original post and every reply have the same set of fields: display name, @handle, a blue or gold badge, profile photo, post text, an attached image, the date and time, and counts for replies, reposts, likes, views and bookmarks. Counts are shortened the way X shows them, so 12,500 views reads as 12.5K. Leave a count empty and only the icon shows, the way X shows a post nobody has liked yet.
What people make with fake tweet replies
- A product announcement with the replies you hope to get, for a pitch deck or a launch plan.
- A fictional argument or group chat for a story, a comic or a lesson on online behaviour.
- A customer-support exchange to show how a brand should answer complaints.
- A meme that only works as a back-and-forth.
Tips for a thread that reads naturally
Give replies times a little after the original post and after each other, since X shows them in order. Keep reply counts smaller than the original's, and vary the handles and profile photos so each reply clearly comes from a different person. Pick the theme that matches where the image will be shown: Light for documents, Dark or Dim for slides with a dark background.
For a single post with no replies, the fake tweet maker makes one post and exports it at 3×. To capture a real public post, use the tweet to image converter.
Reply chain generator FAQ
How many replies can I add?
Up to six replies under the original post. The counter above the editor shows how many you have used.
Can each reply come from a different account?
Yes. Every reply has its own name, handle, badge, profile photo, text, date and counts, so a thread can mix as many people as you like.
Does the reply chain generator fetch real replies?
No. Everything in the image is what you type. To capture a real public post instead, use the tweet to image converter.
What file do I get?
One PNG of the whole conversation, named tweetsim-conversation.png. Long threads are scaled so the image stays within a size browsers can export reliably.
