Convert a public tweet to a PNG

Paste one status link from x.com or twitter.com. Tweetsim loads that public post and exports online-tweet.png at 3× resolution. The words in the image are the post’s own words.

How to convert a tweet to an image

  1. Copy one public status URL from x.com or twitter.com. Links with www, a trailing slash, or query parameters are accepted. Paste the link into the field.
  2. Select Generate and wait until the preview shows the post. Export PNG stays unavailable while the post is loading or if it cannot be found.
  3. Select Export PNG. Tweetsim prepares online-tweet.png at 3× resolution and asks your browser to download it.

What the PNG includes

The file is the rendered card for that one post. A profile page, a search page, or a shortened link does not point at one status, so the field rejects it. Private, deleted, and unavailable posts may not load. The converter leaves the wording as it was published.

The export is a single post. Replies under that post are not assembled into a thread image. There is no background editor, custom size, or format picker. A video in the post is captured as a still PNG. For a worked example and what to check when a preview will not load, read the tweet to image converter guide. You can also start from the example on this page.

When you need a different image

To write fictional text, a name, and counts, use the fake tweet maker. To stack an original post with up to six replies and export one PNG, use the reply chain. Questions about downloads and how public posts are retrieved are on the FAQ.
